Meet our wonderful Clinical Assistant Taleah! Taleah has been a member of the Greenstone Acupuncture family since 2021 and she brings her creative flair and love for people to our team!
We recently sat down with Taleah to discuss all things career, health and hobbies.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and about your aspirations
I am an Aquarius Sun, Aquarius Moon and Taurus Rising! I have travelled around a lot and find it hard to stay put. I started working in health at a young age but just felt that nursing was not the right calling for me. I have dabbled in real estate and hospitality; I am also an editorial and portrait photographer.
Meeting Arna and Joolz opened my eyes to the world of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and I just decided one day this is what I want to do. I am currently in my second year studying Acupuncture and am loving every minute of it!
What attracted you to working at Greenstone Acupuncture?
Arna and Joolz! Not only are they great humans and friends, but they are also amazing practitioners with years of collective knowledge. They have both taken me under their wings and I am learning so much about TCM from them.
What is your favourite thing about your role at Greenstone Acupuncture?
I love that I am learning so much about how a clinic runs and what it takes to run a successful clinic. Arna does an amazing job and makes everyone feel welcome, we are all really one big family here.
When you're not busy studying or working, what do you enjoy doing?
I have a 2-year-old black lab named Hades, so I love taking him to the beach and spending time with him. I have also made a promise to myself that this year I am going to spend more time hiking, camping, gardening, doing yoga and reading.
Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?
If I am not at Greenstone, I see myself either owning my own little clinic in a small beachside town or living somewhere like London and practicing over there! There are so many amazing opportunities and things I can see myself doing thanks to TCM. Greenstone Acupuncture has been a huge part of my career journey!
